Undefeated no more: Malcolm stuns Bishop Neumann, defeating them on their home turf

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — It was a battle at Wayne Reeves field Friday night for Channel 8’s Game of the Week.

Malcolm defeated Bishop Neumann 21-7, handing the Cavaliers the first loss of the season.

The Clippers got on the board first with a touchdown pass from quarterback Gavin Little to Preston Kucera.

Malcolm’s defense really stood out. They forced four turnovers in the first half, leading 7-0 at the break.

Bishop Neumann came out with some fire in the second half, getting a screen pass to Jaxon Hull for a touchdown, tying the game at 7.

But, after an injury to the Cavaliers quarterback, they were unable to get anything going late offensively.

Malcolm QB Gavin Little threw two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help the Clippers come away with the win.

Malcolm improves to 4-2, winning their third straight game. Bishop Neumann drops to 5-1.
