LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The viral baseball team that’s swept the internet by storm, the Savannah Bananas, is visiting Memorial Stadium next year.

In a press release on Thursday, Nebraska Athletics revealed that the Bananas play at Memorial Stadium on June 13, with the first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m.

It’s the second game for the Bananas in Lincoln, as they’ll be playing at Haymarket Park on June 11.

“This is an exciting day for Nebraska Athletics and the City of Lincoln,” Nebraska Director of Athletics Troy Dannen said in the release. “Since we have begun pursuit of large stadium-type shows for Memorial Stadium, the Savannah Bananas have been consistently mentioned as an event Nebraskans were excited to see in person.   This will be a great event for families to enjoy as summer 2026 kicks off in Lincoln.”

Memorial Stadium and Haymarket Park are part of the 70 sites on the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour.

The home of Husker football has hosted a handful of non-football events in previous years, like a Garth Brooks concert and Volleyball Day in Nebraska.

Tickets for both Lincoln games will be sold directly through the Savannah Bananas organization.  A ticket lottery list will be available on the team’s website on Oct. 31.
