Game of the Week Preview: Falls City vs. Syracuse

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Syracuse Rockets will try and stay undefeated as they host the Falls City Tigers on Friday night.

The Rockets are in the midst of a successful season in Class C1, where they’ve defeated teams like Lincoln Christian, Milford and Fairbury.

Syracuse has three games remaining, including Friday night’s home matchup with the Tigers, who are 1-5 so far this season.

The Rockets close out the year with two road games against Auburn and Wilber-Clatonia.

Ahead of Friday’s matchup, Channel 8’s Andrew Ward spoke with Syracuse head coach Gabe Meints to talk about the team’s success this season.

Channel 8 also got the opportunity to see Syracuse’s marching band prepare to hype up the crowd for Friday’s game.
