Nebraska volleyball records its 10th straight sweep in win over Northwestern

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska volleyball took care of business on Friday night, beating Northwestern 3-0.

It was the Huskers’ annual Pink Match at the Devaney Center to honor those affected by breast cancer.

The Big Red posted its 10th sweep in a row, pushing its current set streak to 31. That mark ties the 2009 team for the longest streak since 2007 (53 sets in a row).
Harper Murray had nine kills and eight digs, while Rebekah Allick and Teraya Sigler each had seven kills.
Bergen Reilly went for 30 assists and moved within 10 assists of Lauren Cook (3,198) for fourth in school history in career assists in the rally-scoring era.
Laney Choboy had a match-high 10 digs.
Nebraska will be back at the Bob on Saturday to take on Michigan State. First serve is set for 7:30 p.m.
