Much Warmer, Sunny for Veterans Day

It was a very cold start to the day in southeast Nebraska. Here is a look at some of the lowest wind chills we saw across eastern Nebraska, according to the National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley.

Df Lincoln Today Hour By Hour

Temperatures will drop until close to midnight before temperatures begin to climb throughout the early morning hours. Mostly cloudy skies and warmer air being brought up through a strong southerly wind will help us warm up.

Df Dma Tonight Low

Before warming up, many of us will see overnight lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s.

Increasing cloud cover for Lincoln as winds continue to pick up, gusting close to 20 miles per hour. Lows tonight will reach the lower 30s.

There is an extremely small chance for a flurry in southeast Nebraska, but Stormcast keeps the majority of our area dry under mostly cloudy skies. Plenty of sunshine reaches our area by Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures will be much warmer for Veterans Day with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

Highs tomorrow will reach the lower 60s in the Capital City with winds shifting to be out of the northwest.

Temperatures remain in the 60s for the majority of the week, evening trying for the 70s by Friday. Temperature will cool off with a passing system on track to reach our area this weekend, with a few chances for rain in the mix as well.
