Friday Morning Showers, Warmer Weekend Ahead
Temperatures will be in the 40s as we head out the door on Friday, with wind chills in the middle to upper 30s. A chance for showers in Lincoln this morning, continuing until the early afternoon.
The latest runs of Stormcast show rain chances for much of southeast Nebraska this morning. Rain totals will remain on the lighter side, with the best chances of seeing 0.5″ or greater near the Kansas-Nebraska border.
Mostly cloudy skies continue this afternoon with temperatures only reaching the upper 40s in the Capital City.
High temperatures across southeast Nebraska will be a couple degrees below average in the middle to upper 40s.
In Lincoln we are looking at the upper 40s and mostly cloudy skies this afternoon after a few morning showers.
Low temperatures tonight will fall close to freezing with a light wind out of the north.

Temperatures look to warm up for this weekend with high temperatures in the lower 60s under mostly sunny skies. A chance for rain late on Sunday followed by chances for rain and potentially a stray thunderstorm on Monday. Temperatures continue to cool as we head toward Thanksgiving, with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s by late next week.
