STRONG Winds Tuesday- Colder Wednesday
Hold on tight! A HIGH WIND WARNING is in effect until 6pm this evening for much of the state. A WIND ADVISORY is in effect for eastern Nebraska. The strongest winds will occur out west and into parts of NE Nebraska. Eastern Nebraska can expect gusts up to 35 mph through Wednesday morning. These winds will make temperatures feel 5-10 degrees chillier statewide.
NW winds will take over the whole state this afternoon. Expect the strongest winds from noon-9pm.
This afternoon, high temperatures only reaching the 40s and 50s under mostly sunny skies and gusty NW winds.
Wednesday morning, bundle up an extra layer! Temperatures will feel like the upper single digits to mid teens. Gusty winds will continue across eastern Nebraska Wednesday.
Thanksgiving looks to be sunny and chilly! Winds will be light though! Friday evening through Saturday, snow will be possible in NE Nebraska before a potential rain/snow mix Saturday morning and afternoon. Temperatures will be near freezing with cloudy skies through Sunday.
Friday night, light snow in NE Nebraska. Saturday, some rain/snow mix possible across eastern Nebraska. Keep an eye on the forecasts through this week.

Friday evening through the weekend, wintry mix chances increasing for parts of northeast and eastern Nebraska. December starts cold with highs in the 20s and 30s with a few weaker systems late next week.
