One More Cold Day Before Warmer Air Arrives
With gusty winds today, temperatures will feel like the teens throughout the day. Friday will have lighter winds with warmer temperatures!
SW winds will gusts will pick up over 20 mph this afternoon, helping warm up temperatures statewide by Friday.
Snow potential Saturday: Saturday’s system will likely bring accumulating snow to parts of Nebraska. Models still differ on exact totals and placement, but the best chance appears to be in NE Nebraska and central Iowa. Stay tuned for updates!

A COLD and sunny Thursday in eastern Nebraska. By Friday, a slight warmup back into the upper 30s and low to mid 40s Saturday, our next front moves through bringing small snow chances to eastern Nebraska. A few periodic chances for rain/flurries next week with a warming trend in store! Our winter coat drive is next Thursday too!
