Nebraska women’s basketball ranked No. 24 in AP Poll

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The undefeated Nebraska women’s basketball team was ranked Monday in the AP top 25 poll.
The Huskers, who are coming off a win over Penn State in the Big Ten opener on Saturday, were ranked No. 24.

Nebraska’s offense — led by sophomore Britt Prince — ranks ninth nationally in scoring with 90.7 points per game and second in field goal percentage with 0.539.
Prince is scoring 21.2 points per game, while also shooting 63.9% from the field and 53.8% from beyond the arc.
Nebraska is also one of nine Big Ten teams in the NET Top 20 in women’s basketball.
The Huskers will look to extend their win streak to double digits when they face Omaha at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Tuesday.
