LPD investigating after finding body near UNL’s city campus
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Police Department is investigating after a body was found Monday near the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s city campus.
Just before 9 a.m., officers responded to the area of Vine Street and Antelope Valley Parkway on a report of a man found dead.
Police said investigators are on the scene working to determine the man’s identity, along with the cause and manner of death.
LPD noted that more information will be released “if the death is believed to be criminal in nature.”
