Temperatures Climb Closing in on Christmas
Temperatures are expected to quickly drop after sunset, leaving us to spend our Sunday evening in the upper 30s. Keep a jacket handy if you are heading out, as wind chills will be close to freezing.

Lows tonight will drop to the middle 30s under partly cloudy skies.
Lows in Lincoln will reach the middle 30s with breezy conditions. A wind gust up to 25 cannot be ruled out under partly cloudy skies.
No issues getting out the door tomorrow morning for the morning commute. Temperatures will be in the middle to upper 30s with a light south-southwesterly breeze.
Temperatures look to be well above average on Monday with highs in the upper 50s and 60s.
A sunny and breezy afternoon tomorrow for the Capital City. Afternoon temperatures will be close to 20 degrees above average!
Above average temperatures look to continue for the rest of the calendar year.
Highs in the 50s and 60s continue as we close in on Christmas. A 136-year-old record is in jeopardy on Christmas day, though a chance for morning cloud cover and fog looks to keep us cooler. A cold front moves in the day after Christmas, returning us closer to average for the rest of December.
