Lincoln Grand Cinema premieres Avengers: Endgame

It was a bittersweet night for some of Marvel’s biggest fans as this chapter in Avengers comes to an end.

“I grew up reading these comic books my whole life, and the Infinity Gauntlet was one that really stuck with me growing up, and I think they’ve done it a lot of justice. I think they’re about to put out a solid adaptation of it,” Adrian Garcia, a Marvel movie fan, said.

The movie is playing more than 350 times within the next three days at the four Marcus Theaters in Lincoln. They’re running from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

“We’ve been trying to accommodate everyone’s scheduling,” Tobias Polanco, assistant manager at Lincoln Grand Cinema, said.

Fans and the superheroes themselves are urging everyone not to spoil the movie.

“I have avoided all spoilers. It’s the main reason I’m here tonight because I don’t want to be,” Emily Lowe, a Marvel movie fan, said.

Everybody has speculations on what happens during Endgame, but like every other Marvel movie, it’s hard to guess.

“I’m sure it will end well, whatever the ending is because the first one they did such a good job. These have been really good movies, so I expect whatever the ending is, I’m sure I’ll be surprised. I was surprised at the end of the first one, I’m sure it will be good and I’ll be surprised whatever it is,” Mike Hilgers, senator and Marvel movie fan, said.

Marcus theaters recommend you come about 45 minutes before the movie starts. Even if you already have your tickets.
