Man arrested after officers find drugs in his socks, police say

Lincoln Police arrested a man accused of hiding drugs in his socks.
Officers stopped a vehicle that failed to use its turn signal around North 48th and Sherwood Drive around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon. The driver, identified by police as Michael Hawley, 35, had marijuana and a pipe in his left sock, and another pipe and meth in his right sock.
Harley was cited and lodged for possession of a controlled substance.
Officers also saw marijuana and paraphernalia in the car, police said.
In total, 10.5 grams of marijuana and .3 grams of meth were seized, police said.
