Husker athletes visit residents at Pemberly Place

A couple of Husker football and soccer players spent Wednesday morning chatting with the residents at Pemberly Place.
They also played games such as corn hole, cards and ping pong.
One of the football player’s grandparents happened to be one of the residents.
“My grandma has been introducing me to a couple other people and it’s a really special experience,” Husker football player, Christian Gaylord said.
The residents said the Huskers volleyball team made a trip to visit about a month ago.
They were excited to see some familiar Husker football faces Wednesday in person before they start watching them on the big screen in August.
