Huskers rise in latest AP Poll, match highest ranking in program history

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska men’s basketball team continues to rise in the national rankings.
In the latest AP Poll released on Monday, the Huskers rank No. 8, marking their highest ranking in program history.

The last time the Huskers were ranked No. 8 nationally was during the 1965-66 season.
The rise in ranking follows the Huskers’ back-to-back road wins this past week.
Nebraska beat Ohio State 72-69 on Jan. 5 before making a thrilling comeback against Indiana on Saturday.
The Huskers now stand at 16-0 with a 5-0 record in the Big Ten, marking the best start to a season in program history.
