More Clouds, Temperatures Stay Warm for Tuesday
Mostly clear skies will continue for the rest of the evening with temperatures staying mild for mid-January.
By 8 p.m. tonight, we should see temperatures in the lower 40s with a light southwesterly breeze.
Low temperatures in southeast Nebraska will be close to what our high temperatures are supposed to be this time of year.
Clear skies continue overnight in Lincoln as temperatures fall to the lower 30s.
Cloud cover will build throughout the day with chances for rain for central Nebraska, according to the latest runs of StormCast.
Another day of warmer weather is on the way for Tuesday in southeast Nebraska.
Cloud cover is expected to increase throughout the day on Tuesday as temperatures reach the lower 60s during the afternoon. After a breezy day, there is a small chance of light rain late Tuesday evening.
Temperatures do look to drop off by Wednesday where we should remain cooler for the rest of the work week. Small chances for rain are sprinkled throughout the back half of the week, but we should be dry by the weekend.
