LPD: 5 injured in crash near UNL campus

Emergency crews responded to the scene of a reported two-vehicle accident near the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. 

The accident occurred around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Salt Creek Roadway and North Antelope Valley Parkway. 

Lincoln Police say initial investigation suggests that a northbound vehicle turned left in front of a southbound vehicle.  

Five people were injured, but none of the injuries are considered to be life-threatening, police said. 

Traffic is back open in the area.
