LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two children were injured in a UTV crash in Bennet on Monday.

Just after 4 p.m., several first responders from Lincoln, Bennet and Hickman were sent to a home near Tyler and Cottonwood streets in northeast Bennet.

According to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, two children — ages 9 and 7 — were injured in the crash.

The 9-year-old was taken to the hospital with an unknown condition, while the 7-year-old was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

A Channel 8 reporter on the scene saw StarCare take off near the site of the crash.

There is no word from authorities on what caused the crash.
