Police investigating shooting that wounded two in north Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department is investigating a shooting in north Lincoln on Tuesday.

Around 8 p.m., officers were sent to the area of 66th and Colfax streets on the report of gunshots. When officers arrived, they found multiple bullet casings.

At 8:07 p.m., LPD was sent to a local hospital for a 21-year-old Lincoln man with a gunshot wound.

At 8:21 p.m., LPD was again sent to a local hospital for an 18-year-old Lincoln man with a gunshot wound.

Both men received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
