Portion of Centennial Mall to temporarily close starting Tuesday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department on Monday announced the temporary closure of Centennial Mall.

Starting Tuesday at 8 a.m., southbound Centennial Mall between O and P streets will close for utility work.

The project is expected to be completed by 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to officials.

LTU said the recommended detour is P Street to 16th Street to O Street.
