Endangered Missing Advisory issued for pregnant Nebraska woman after car found burned
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding Hannah Neville.
The 26-year-old from Stromsburg, Nebraska, was last seen in her hometown on Jan. 15 and was believed to be traveling to Lincoln to meet her boyfriend.
According to the sheriff’s office, Neville is 32 weeks pregnant.
“According to everything that I learned about Hannah, she was excited about this pregnancy,” Investigator Brittany McCracken said. “She was attending appointments and using community resources and things for this baby to come.”
On Jan. 16, first responders found Neville’s car — a silver 2009 Chevy Trailblazer — engulfed in flames in a cul-de-sac near 39th Street and Cornhusker Highway.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, the fire’s cause remains under investigation by the fire inspector, and it has not yet been determined whether it was accidental or arson.
Neville is 5-foot-2, 130 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes, and was carrying a light blue Nike backpack.
She has three tattoos, including a rose with the name Delaney on her right hand, a skull with the word Rebel on her right forearm, and a sunflower with the word Ohana on her left forearm.
“Due to her advanced pregnancy, missed medical appointments, and the circumstances surrounding her vehicle, Hannah is considered missing and endangered,” the sheriff’s office said on the missing person poster.
Neville’s boyfriend, 27-year-old Roberto Tanner, is not currently a suspect but is considered a person of interest, according to the sheriff’s office.
“Whoever gets this information, please contact us right away,” said Polk County Sheriff Dwaine Ladwig.
Just before 2:30 p.m., the Nebraska State Patrol issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for Neville.
Authorities stress that even the smallest detail could help bring Neville home safely.
