Cold air and light snow
A COLD WEATHER ADVISORY is in place into Saturday morning for north central Nebraska. Wind chill temps may drop into the 20 to 25 degrees below zero range.
After the cold start to the weekend, a quick clipper system will roll across Nebraska giving us a chance for some minor accumulating snow.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential.
The weekend will start off cold, too. Most of eastern Nebraska will see temperatures below zero early Saturday.
The wind chill will drop into the double digits BELOW zero.
We’ll try to warm up Saturday afternoon but most of eastern Nebraska will remain cold. It warms up nicely out west!
The 40s come back into Lincoln Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Near 50 by Thursday.
