Lincoln man hurls insults then threatens couple with handgun

A 33-year-old Lincoln man is behind bars after threatening his neighbors with a gun.
According to Lincoln Police a couple arrived home near 25th and U Street around 9:30 Sunday morning and parked next to 33-year-old Michael Johns.
Police Johns then got out of his car, began calling the couple “crackheads,” and told them to leave if they didn’t live there.
The couple told LPD a short time later Johns returned with a 32 caliber handgun and told them to leave again.
Johns was arrested for terroistic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The handgun Johns threatened the couple with was recovered by LPD.
