Lincoln church collecting personal care and cleaning items for flood victims

Christ Lincoln Church is assembling their members and gathering items to take to flood victims in Fremont and surrounding areas.
The church, located near 44th and Sumner Streets in Lincoln, parked a semi-truck in front of their building Saturday morning.
They’re hoping to take the first truck load of supplies within the week, but are asking for helping filling it with supplies.
“Any type of supplies, anything like that. Right now we’re looking at non–perishable day to day living supplies and stuff like that. Cleaning supplies are always welcome any of that, bottled water,” Ted Lowther, a church member and organizer of the fundraiser, said.
Lowther and church members will be using some of the supplies collected to assemble disaster relief buckets filled with cleaning supplies for affected homeowners.
If you would like to donate items you can drop them off at the church anytime. Monetary donations can be made to Christ Lincoln Church and will be used to purchased cleaning supplies.
