2026 NSAA Girls State Basketball Championship Recap

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The 2026 state semifinals concluded Friday night after a loaded day of basketball.

In Class C1, Milford took on Gothenburg.

The Eagles handled the Swedes 3-point attack, winning 63-51.

Abby Crabtree finished with a team-high 22 points.

Following Milford’s win, Malcolm battled against Fort Calhoun.

The Clippers took care of business behind the Dolliver sisters, combing for 57 points.

Malcolm won 72-59.

Payton Dolliver finished with a team high 30 points. Halle Dolliver finished with 27 points and 21 rebounds.

Malcolm and Milford will play for a Class C1 title at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Class A took the stage in the afternoon, starting with Lincoln North Star.

The Navigators took down Millard West 46-31 to punch their ticket to the championship game for the first time in school history.

North Star will face Omaha North on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

In the Class B night cap, both games went down to the wire.

Norris fell to Gretna East 45-43 after a missed layup from the Titans in the final seconds.

The Thunderbolts took the stage in the final game of the evening.

Lincoln Pius X couldn’t quite pull off the upset over undefeated Bennington losing 55-52.

Class D2:

  • Dundy County Stratton 45, Archangels 25.
  • Wynot 59, Red Cloud 48.

Class D1:

  • Bloomfield 44, Sutton 38.
  • Howells-Dodge 44, Elm Creek 31.

Class C2:

  • Pender 46, Yutan 36.
  • Elkhorn Valley 48, Guardian Angles CC 40.

Class C1:

  • Milford 63, Gothenburg 51.
  • Malcolm 72, Fort Calhoun 59.

Class B:

  • Gretna East 45, Norris 43.
  • Bennington 55, Lincoln Pius X 52.

Class A:

  • Lincoln North Star 46, Millard West 31.
  • Omaha North 59, Kearney 47.
