Dozen of inventors vie for chance to be featured on Shark Tank

Do you have what it takes to pitch a product on Shark Tank?
Hundreds of people lined up to audition Saturday morning at Pinnacle Bank Arena for a chance to be on the hit ABC show.
“We want to introduce you to a revolutionary new travel product called the planket,” Jared Anderson said while pitching to one of the judges inside PBA.
Over 250 inventors and entrepreneurs had just one minute to pitch their products in front of a judge.
Anderson and his wife drove over six hours from Colorado to pitch their product the Planket, a combination pillow and blanket for traveling.
“I generally find myself to be a pretty confident person, but it still is a little nerve wracking nonetheless. Our long–term goal is to get on the show and we had to come in here with confidence and kill it and that’s the only way we’re going to make it,” Anderson said.
Anderson and the others who pitched will not find out if they get to appear on the show until early May.
Even if the planket doesn’t land in front of the Shark Tank judges this year, Anderson and his wife said they will continue to grow the Planket until they can get it on the show.
