A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for south-central and southeast Nebraska until 11 p.m CDT on Saturday, June 13. Have multiple ways to be alerted to severe weather, especially if you have outdoor plans this evening.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storms.
Large hail will be a concern in the strongest storms this afternoon and evening.
Damaging wind will be more of a concern with the storms later this afternoon.
The tornado threat is small for Nebraska, but a couple of quick spin-ups are possible in far SE Nebraska this afternoon.
