Nine vehicles vandalized overnight, LPD searching for suspects

More than half a dozen cars had windows broken and dents left on their hoods after a string of vandalisms in south Lincoln.

According to Lincoln Police officers were dispatched just before midnight Friday night to the 2400 block of B Street on reports of a suspicious person.

When officers arrived they found nine vehicles with windows broken out by rocks or landscaping bricks. Several cars had dents on their hoods from someone standing on them and windshields were kicked out. 

Damages are estimated at more than $2,000.

LPD is still searching for the suspects, anyone with information is asked to call 402-441-6000.
