Stuff-a-truck for the Ponca Tribe who was devastated by recent flooding

A truck loaded with hundreds of donations is getting ready to set out to provide flood relief for the Ponca Tribe in Niobrara, NE.

Hillary Duggan and a group of friends have been loading a yellow truck parked at HyVee near 52nd and O Streets with supplies since Friday afternoon.

Duggan came up with the idea to help the tribe while dropping off her two-year-old off at school and quickly put a plan into action.

The Ponca Tribe was devastated by recent flooding and many families were left with nothing.

Duggan said some of the most requested items are cleaning supplies, baby food, diapers, women’s hygiene products, and non-perishable food. Clothing will not be accepted at this time.

If you would like to donate the truck will be outside HyVee near 52nd and O Street until 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Duggan will be heading out to Niobrara to deliver all the items Sunday morning.
