Lincoln man cuts one person and threatens others with machete

A fifty-five year old Lincoln man is behind bars after threatening people with a machete.

Lincoln Police say 55-year-old Jeffery Wyatt showed up at a home in the 1100 block of North Charleston Street near north 10th and Salt Creek Roadway around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Wyatt began threatening people with the machete and Lincoln Police say that’s when a fight broke out.

One person was cut by the machete, but only had minor injuries that did not require medical attention. 

LPD arrested Wyatt for terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
