Ashland-Greenwood wins second straight state championship, fourth in last five seasons
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Ashland-Greenwood took down Douglas County West for the state championship on Saturday.

The Bluejays started off slow in the first quarter, scoring just four points while giving up 11.
But the roles reversed in the second quarter, with the halftime score knotted at 15 apiece.
Ashland-Greenwood buckled down in the second half to secure the three-point win. The final score was 42-39.

The Bluejays have now won four of the last five class C1 championships, and their second in a row.
Senior Derek Tonjes finished with a team-high 14 points while adding in six rebounds.
