Lincoln Southwest brings home its first ever boys state basketball championship
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Southwest made history on Saturday afternoon, winning its first ever state title after taking down Papillion-LaVista South.

The Silver Hawks had to battle from behind after going down 19-13 after the first quarter.
Southwest fought hard in the second quarter to close that gap, going into the halftime down just one point, 26-25.
The green and silver hit another gear in the third quarter, scoring 19 points, before finishing the job with a 14-point final frame.
The final score was 57-53.

Uzziah Sanders finished with a team and game-high 20-points while his brother, Makkiah Sanders, finished with 11.
Dakari Wilson finished with 14 points while knocking down four threes.
