Wedding fair arrives in Lincoln to ease the stress of planning for local brides

If you’re getting married this year and are looking for a little help planning your big day dozens of vendors are getting together for a wedding fair Sunday afternoon.

Photographers, bridal salons, catering businesses, DJ’s and more are gathering at the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel in downtown Lincoln for the annual Wedding Fair U.S.A. show. 

This is the 37th year the wedding fair has been held and for the organizer it’s the excitement of wedding planning that keeps him coming back every year. 

“It’s the magic of a bride and groom who have found each other and are just looking forward to celebrating the day with their family and friends,” Russ Free, the owner and coordinator of The Wedding Fair U.S.A. said.

If you want to attend the wedding fair the cost is $5 at the door. 

The event runs from 12-4 p.m. in the grand ballroom at the Cornhusker Marriott near 13th and L Streets.
