Car stolen from YMCA parking lot in Southeast Lincoln

Lincoln Police are searching for the suspect who stole a GMC Yukon out of a YMCA parking lot in Southeast  Lincoln.

It happened Friday night around 6 p.m. at the YMCA near 84th and Yankee Hill Road. 

Police say a 43-year-old female was inside the YMCA when she lost her car keys.

When she went out to the parking lot her her 2012 white GMC Yukon with the license plate NE UUU 327 was gone.

Lincoln Police say a short time later, around 7:30 p.m., the Yukon was involved in a hit-and-run accident near 41st and Baldwin Ave. in Northeast Lincoln. 

At this time police do not have any suspects.
