UPDATE: Westbound I-80 from Waverly to Ashland reopens

Westbound I-80 from Waverly to Ashland, exit 409 to 426, has reopened after being closed for several hours this morning.
Multiple jackknifed semis blocked the roadway early Saturday morning forcing the Nebraska State Patrol to close the roadway.
The accidents have all been cleared and the roadway is reopen at this time.
The Nebraska State Patrol has shut down westbound I-80 near Waverly, exit 409 all the way to the Ashland exit, exit 426.
According to NSP multiple semi trucks are jackknifed and blocking traffic.
Troopers are on scene directing traffic off the interstate.
Eastbound traffic is still flowing.
NSP is encouraging drivers to stay home as the blizzard conditions have created dangerous driving conditions.
