Man high on drugs calls 911 claiming someone in HyVee has a gun

 Lincoln Police have arrested a 37-year-old Lincoln man after he called 911 early Saturday morning claiming someone in North Lincoln HyVee had a gun.

It happened around 4:30 Saturday morning at the HyVee near North 27th and Superior.

According to police, 37-year-old Leonard Hernandez locked himself in the bathroom at HyVee then called 911 claiming someone in the store had a gun.

When LPD arrived at the store they did not find anyone with a gun, but they did find Hernandez high on drugs in the bathroom.

Hernandez was arrested for making a false report.
