Lincoln man assaulted and robbed overnight
Lincoln Police are searching for a group of men who attacked and robbed a man early Sunday morning.
It happened around 1:00 a.m. near 11th and A Street.
Police say a 30–year–old Lincoln man was outside when he was approached by a group of six men.
The men asked to borrow the victim’s lighter, but then became upset for unknown reasons.
LPD says that’s when the group started attacking the man.
The victim suffered only minor injuries, but the group made off with his coat and cell phone.
