Chilly Start, Sunny for Easter Sunday
It will be a chilly start to Easter Sunday for southeast Nebraska, with morning temperatures near freezing. By the afternoon, we should see plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 60s, perfect for any outdoor plans!
The latest runs of StormCast show mostly clear skies to close out the weekend.
Low temperatures tonight will drop to the upper 20s with a blustery northwesterly wind.
Clear skies tonight for Lincoln, but the wind looks to stick with us through Saturday evening. Any plans for Saturday night will require a jacket as lows reach the upper 20s.
After spending the past couple of days in the 40s and 50s, highs on Sunday will reach the middle 60s for much of southeast Nebraska.
It could be a frosty start to our Easter in Lincoln, but mild temperatures will take over by the afternoon with highs in the middle 60s.
We are keeping an eye on the chance for a little wintry mix at the start of the day on Tuesday. Accumulations appear to be minor for the moment.
After a passing cold front to start the work week, temperatures recover from the 40s on Monday to the 50s by Tuesday. Wednesday will be warm and breezy as highs return to the mid-70s ahead of a couple of chances for precipitation to end the week.
