Warm, Breezy to Start the Week
Warmer weather will continue for the start of the work week, with highs expected in the 80s on Monday and Tuesday. Breezy afternoons will help usher in the summer-like weather, with chances for precipitation on the way for Tuesday evening.
We will likely see passing cloud cover, especially for the start of the day on Monday, but StormCast keeps us dry heading into Tuesday.
Low temperatures tonight will be mild in eastern Nebraska under higher levels of humidity. Temperatures by early Monday morning will range from the 40s to the 60s across the state.
Expect a mild and humid evening ahead in Lincoln. We will continue to see a noticeable southerly wind, gusting up to 20 miles per hour.
Highs on Monday look more like mid-June than mid-April. Afternoon temperatures will be in the 80s across the state.
It looks like the winds will stick around in the Capital City through the day on Monday, with mild weather in the morning leading to warm conditions by the afternoon.
