Lincoln man in critical condition after being struck at Eagle Raceway

A Lincoln man is in critical condition after being hit during a race last night at Eagle Raceway. 

A witness tells us racetrack official Tim Kozak was out placing a cone Saturday night just before 9 p.m. when he was hit and then thrown. 

The witness said a medical helicopter landed in the infield of the track and was flown to Bryan West in Lincoln.

Bryan West confirmed Kozak is in critical condition.
