Multiple People Hospitalized With Serious Injuries Following Crash West Of Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said multiple people were hospitalized with serious injuries following a crash west of Lincoln on Monday.

Just after 7:15 p.m., multiple first responders, including StarCare, were called to the intersection of West O Street and Southwest 84th Street.

In a video sent to our NOW Local News App, you can see the intersection blocked off with one of the cars down in the ditch.

The sheriff’s office said multiple people were taken to the hospital via ambulance with serious injuries. One other seriously injured person was flown to a hospital via StarCare.

Authorities said the intersection will be closed for the foreseeable future.

There is no word yet on what caused the crash.

Two people who were first on the scene said the crash was a terrifying sight.

“I heard the crash from my living room,” Falechia said.

“I’m just hoping everyone is alright,” said Dylan. “There’s going to be some pain for a while.”

Both Dylan and Falechia said a dog was ejected from one of the vehicles, and they rushed that dog to an emergency vet.
