Storm chances for the next several days
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in place for much of the western half of Nebraska through 2:00am Tuesday morning, June 2nd. The panhandle is in a Severe Thunderstorm Watch through 8pm MDT Monday, June 1st.
Scattered storms are possible on and off through this week. They will be hit and miss, so not everybody will see storms, but the chance is there. It’s eventually going to get very warm, too.
For Monday night, strong to severe storms are mostly likely in the yellow shaded “Slight Risk” area in the western half of the state. Eastern Nebraska may see a couple of strong storms overnight, too.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storms Monday night into early Tuesday.
It will be warm on Tuesday, but pretty close to normal across the state.
Storms will once again be possible Tuesday evening, but mostly for the western half of the state.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storms Tuesday evening.
More storms are possible through the second half of the week with a small chance for storms over the weekend. Next week looks hot and dry.
