Crews battle RV fire at Shoemaker’s in west Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Fire & Rescue battled an RV fire in west Lincoln on Wednesday.

Just before 12:45 p.m., crews were sent to Shoemaker’s near Northwest 48th and West O streets.

In a video sent to Channel 8 by Andrii Shevchuck, you can see the blaze coming from the RV’s front windows.

According to LFR, the fire started in the engine and spread back into the cab.

The two RV owners were able to get themselves and their cat out of the mobile home, LFR said.

LFR said investigators are working to determine what caused the fire and how much damage was caused.
