In a video sent to Channel 8 by Andrii Shevchuck, you can see the blaze coming from the RV’s front windows.

According to LFR, the owners of the RV were driving on Interstate 80 when a mechanical failure in the engine caused a spark that ignited a fire.

LFR said they pulled into the parking lot at Shoemaker’s and tried to put out the blaze with fire extinguishers.

The extinguishers knocked down the fire at first, but it flared back up, LFR said.

LFR said the two RV owners were able to get themselves and their cat out of the mobile home.

The motor home is a total loss, estimated at $175,000, while the contents inside the RV total a $15,000 loss.
