Spotty Rain & Cooler Friday

7-11am: A few light showers & T-storms will occur across SE Nebraska. Better chance for rain/storms in far SE Nebraska.
Noon-4pm: Rain/storms start to lessen & move east as HIGH pressure takes over. A few light showers from Lincoln->east. Rain will be lighter as the afternoon progresses.
Rainfall potential look to range from 0.25-0.6″+ through Friday evening. Our last rain chance for awhile.
Friday afternoon high temperatures only reaching the 80s! SE Nebraska will be the coolest, due to cloudy skies and scattered rainfall.
Friday brings cooler temperatures with our last chances of spotty rain until next Sunday. This weekend looks like average summer days. Next Monday starts our HOT and DRY stretch! The end of next week, temperatures could reach the near triple digits across the state as dew points drop each day. It has been 385 days since Lincoln has seen 100 degrees!
