Turf Tank, a quick painting robot, returns to Lincoln fields

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Turf Tank returned to Lincoln yesterday. It is a robot from Omaha that can paint athletic fields quickly.

The GPS driven robot does jobs quickly that usually take weeks.

“What we utilize the robots for, today for example, we’re out here helping with the Lincoln Sports Foundation painting archery for the Junior Olympics,” said Ken Rathman with Turf Tank. “We’re also doing logos as well. Our product is very versatile.”

The Turf Tank will continue to work until the competition begins next Wednesday, July 22.
