Five Lincoln teachers honored at annual “Thank You Teacher” event

Several Lincoln Public Schools teachers were recently honored at a special reception.

It was all for the annual “Thank You Teacher” event. Five teachers were selected among 500
nominations for the honor. Students throughout the community wrote about how a favorite teacher has
impacted their lives.

Stephanie Emry, a preschool teacher at Rousseau Elementary School, was one of those honored.

“I know it sounds corny but I really truly love my job. So it’s nice to have parents see that and the public see that,” said Emry.
