Need for new schools in northwest Lincoln

As Lincoln grows, there is a need for more schools.

The focus right now is in northwest Lincoln. A new elementary and middle school are needed. The district is hosting a series of input sessions. The first one is this Thursday from 6 pm to 7pm at Neighbors in Fallbrook.

“We need more classrooms,” said Seth Derner, with the LPS Sub-Committee on New Schools. “We need more space in cafeterias, the challenge is where and how do those facilities serve students.”
