Donations for flood victims to be taken up at Husker spring game
In the wake of historic flooding that washed across Nebraska, Nebraska Athletics is going to be taking donations at the Red-White Spring football game.
NU Athletics is partnering with the Red Cross to collect cash donations inside all entrances of Memorial Stadium when the doors open at 11:30 a.m. until 12:50 p.m.
Fans are asked to have their donations ready for collection buckets as they make their way into the stadium.
All funds collected will go toward flood relief for Nebraska and southwest Iowa. The collection buckets will only be inside the gates, and will not be passed around inside the stadium.
The Red-White Spring football game is Saturday.
