Lincoln Police searching for man who tried to hit officer with car

Lincoln Police are the lookout for a man accused of intentionally trying to hit an officer with his car. 

Police were looking for the 21-year-old man, a parole absconder, Wednesday night. Authorities found him and approached his vehicle when the man shifted into reverse sped off, before swerving towards an investigator, a police spokeswoman said. 

The investigator suffered a minor injury to his arm.

Police say the suspect and his girlfriend fled in the vehicle and investigators are still searching for them.
